Day 2: Great Britain (Stonehenge & Bath)

Awesome Moment: Being at Stonehenge this morning. 5,000 year old stones, mysteriously placed. Wow.
Stonehenge.
Blooper: Blunder of the day/last couple days... NOT BRINGING AN UMBRELLA TO LONDON!  (Not to worry; we purchased a couple cheapos today when we were caught in a rainstorm in Bath!)
In Bath with our NEW UMBRELLAS... after visiting the Bath House,
Jane Austen museum--one of her homes is now a dental office,
about a block up the street, and getting caught in a rainstorm.
Cheapest pleasure: Thomas Powe, independent expert tour guide (specialist in 18th century history), gave us a free, 15-minute historical background and details on the Circus housing in Bath. What appears to be 33 tiny apartments in all actuality are 6,000 square feet each! Nicholas Cage just sold his last week (complete with basement swimming pool with Bath waters!)... for millions of dollars! Thomas took a couple photos of us in the Circus park, in addition to gifting us with his valuable and interesting knowledge!
Here's Thomas Powe, expert tour guide and historian.
Look him up if you're looking into a tour
(or looking to purchase one of the apartments!).
He's soon to be published/advertised in Rick Steve's next edition!
